Visitation
VIDEO VISITATION INFORMATION
The Cobb County Sheriff's Office uses video conferencing (video) to conduct both public and professional visits.
Visits are scheduled to allow for a more effective and streamlined process to accommodate an increasing number of visitors to the facility.
PUBLIC VISITORS
All public visitors must schedule their event by calling 770.852.3798 or 770.852.3799.
Visitors are NOT subjected to a security screening prior to an inmate visit, although all
laws and rules are enforced. Parking for your visit is provided and conveniently located in
the front of the Visit Center. You may schedule a visit from 24 hours in advance to 7
days in advance of the requested time. All visitors, 17 years of age and older, will
be photographed and a fingerprint scan obtained upon the initial registration. The
registration process must be completed 10 minutes PRIOR to your scheduled
visitation time. Please factor this into your arrival time.

are regulated and approved by the Georgia Public Service Commission.

Inmate Money, in general:
When an individual is booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, any money that is in his or her possession is counted, receipted, and entered into a banking system. Although Cobb County provides for the necessities of each person residing at the jail, this banking system allows the Inmate to purchase additional commissary items usually on a weekly basis. The inmate can also use this money to make their own bond. If you would like to contribute to the Inmate's account balance, payments may be sent through the mail using US Postal Money Orders. We also accept cash and US Postal money orders in person at the Visitation Center daily from 9am until 8:30 pm. The Visitation Center is located on the right corner of 1825 County Services Parkway before entering the Adult Detention Center Complex.
Information regarding the types of bonds accepted for release may be found on another page. For more information use the link included in this paragraph or click on the heading. Read More...
